TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS:
Horn is a natural and highly durable material. Highly prized for its rare beauty, thanks to its unique and unrepeatable pigmentation that allows for a wide range of shades (white, brown, and black), with natural nuances and grain. It is free of allergenic substances and pollutants , making it ideal for products that come into contact with human skin.
The horn sold comes exclusively from non-protected animals, such as African cow and Indian buffalo. This raw material is recovered from food industry waste, thus giving a second life to materials that would otherwise remain unused.
Horn is a "living" material, particularly sensitive to changes in temperature and humidity, and must therefore be treated with care and expertise to bring out its qualities.
TREATMENT:
Below you will find some small tips to follow to best preserve your horn accessories:
- Do not expose the object to sources of dry and prolonged heat
- Avoid contact with water
- Do not clean with solvent-based or abrasive cleaners
- To maintain the shine of the object, simply use a microfibre cloth
